Terms of Service
The agreement between you and BuiltMonthly for our website subscription services.
1. Service Description
BuiltMonthly provides website design, development, hosting, and ongoing maintenance as a monthly subscription service. Our AI-powered agent teams build and manage professional websites for small businesses and e-commerce brands. All work is performed under the BuiltMonthly brand, powered by Show Up First.
2. Packages & Pricing
We offer three packages, paid monthly with nothing up front. What each package includes is set out in the one-page scope you sign before we build.

Your first month is charged when you sign your scope. A small change is a request we can finish in about 30 minutes; unused changes do not roll over. Work outside your signed scope is quoted before we do it. Text and call usage, phone numbers, paid apps you choose and ad spend are billed at cost or by the vendor.
3. Contract Term & Cancellation
- Minimum commitment: Every package has a 12-month minimum term, because the build is paid off over that year.
- After 12 months: Your monthly fee drops to the amount shown above for your package and continues month-to-month. Either party may cancel with 30 days written notice.
- Leaving before 12 months: You can pay the remaining build balance and keep the site, or walk away and we take the site down.
4. Domain Ownership
Your domain is registered in your name. If you already have a domain, we connect it. You own your domain fully at all times, regardless of your subscription status.
5. Content & Intellectual Property
- Your content: All text, images, logos, and business information you provide remain your property at all times.
- Website design and code: The website design and code are retained by BuiltMonthly until your 12-month minimum term is complete or you pay the remaining build balance. After that, they are yours.
6. Billing & Payment
All billing is processed automatically via Stripe on your monthly billing date. If a payment fails, you have a 5-day grace period to update your payment method. After 5 days, your site may enter maintenance mode. After 30 days of non-payment, your website may be taken offline. BuiltMonthly is not liable for business losses resulting from service interruption due to non-payment.
7. Limitation of Liability
BuiltMonthly's total liability for any claims shall not exceed the total fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or revenue.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Text Messaging (SMS)
BuiltMonthly (operated by Show Up First Marketing) offers an SMS program to customers and prospects who provide their mobile number and consent. Our forms collect that consent in two separate, optional checkboxes, neither pre-checked. Informational texts: by checking the “Updates by text” box you agree to receive text messages related to your account and inquiry, including appointment confirmations and reminders, replies to questions you send us, missed-call follow-ups, and project or account updates. Marketing texts:by checking the separate “Offers and tips by text” box you agree to receive occasional marketing texts with offers and website tips, up to 4 messages per month. Checking the informational box alone does not opt you in to marketing texts.
- Opting out: Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help.
- Rates & frequency: Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
- Carrier disclaimer: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Eligibility: The SMS program is available only to individuals 18 years of age or older. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.
For details on how we handle the information associated with our SMS program, see our Privacy Policy. Mobile opt-in data is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
